Being a motorcycling enthusiast Jon is a modern era biker who doesn’t
exactly fit the corporate image. However, Jon was working as the typical
corporate Vice President of a Northern California engineering company.
This business required a lot of travel so Jon visited numerous cities
and experienced all types of restaurants and bars. This time he went
to San Antonio to work at the airport on a large scale engineering project.
This meant long hours at the airport, walking through the buildings,
and surveying the exterior and perimeter of the buildings and airfield
while dressed in a full suit. By the end of the day Jon was hot, sweaty,
tired, and just wanted to find a place to relax.
Jon took to the San Antonio River Walk to search out a local watering
hole to sit down, get a bite to eat, drink, have fun, and relax. After
walking around in the hot and humid late afternoon atmosphere he found
a place to hang out. He sat down ordered some beer, a bite to eat, and
began thinking. As the evening turned to night the establishment became
more lively and fun. The evening took many twists and turns as the alcohol
flowed freely, and the lively patrons and staff entertained me and themselves.
Jon decided there had to be a better way, and that the corporate lifestyle
wasn’t for him. It was here at this local watering hole, slightly buzzed,
and finally relaxed, that Jon decided opening a bar and restaurant that
was an entertainment destination was the perfect solution to his existing
corporate routine.
After this trip and over the course of a year and a half Whiskey Wild
Saloon was established while working closely with Real Estate professionals,
designers, contractors, and others. It is believed to be the first of
its kind and like no other establishments around. Come by, pull up a
chair, enjoy some great food, drink, and most of all have fun. Whiskey
Wild Saloon is a vision, and Sacramento is only the beginning as plans
for growth to future locations are underway. Look for a Whiskey Wild
Saloon coming to a city near you.
